Look at us getting all emotional over this comeback. It makes me realize that with comebacks like these a milestone is set, not only in shinee’s career but also in our journey as a shawol. A journey we share with thousands around the globe yet it’s a different kind of journey to everyone. But we come all together during moments like these since after all we share the same “pearlescent blue” sky. I’ve known them for to long to not take on this journey with passion or to even easily give up on it. These boys are part of me, they found their way right into the corners of my heart when I first discovered them five years ago by pure coincidence (it was fate for sure). I’m so familiar with them that it’s really hard and sad to imagine how I’d have spent those boring and lonely days without their music, smiles and charms. Far and yet so close, it’s that kind of a relationship in which you give and receive love, support and dedication from one another. And since they seem as close as family and friends, you find yourself growing up and maturing along with them. That’s when this whole stanning is not for your own entertainment’s purpose, nor for the looks (who does that), nor is it for the talent only, it’s a deep connection that breaks through the barriers of language and time zones, making you suffer from feelings for a boy band that has not the slightest clue of your existence, but you sure appreciate theirs. So proud and fond of them, it hurts ♡
Just found out about the “Onewstyle” tragedy. May she rest in peace :( I sure am missing out about fan wars and controversies in this fandom, because I unwittingly overlook them in the first place. Things like these wouldn’t even happen if everyone could just mind their own business.
