Simply search for the css part in your theme code that does the change to your posts overall and copy/paste the following into the brackets
background: #______;
which will add the background color to all your posts. If that only doesn’t work your code probably needs some more changes, feel free to let me know- I’ll help out.

Ah the 3D effect! I’ve seen that all over some edits a few months ago lol. It’s actually really easy to achieve, I’ll show you how :)

Guess you still do. I think it’s because even though you are out of the scene, which is something that happens- my obsessions change ALL the time, you still know him on a “I know him/her well enough to get emotional about this issue yet we never ever met in person” kinda level and associate him with that specific fandom you are familiar with. I felt the same way about the decease of a director that made movies I grew up with even though I haven’t seen one of his movies in ages nor was I particularly into that movie-scene since my pre-teen days. It’s understandable.
